Bradenton
Bomb Maker, 21, Pleads
Guilty to Murder-for-Hire Charge,
U.S. Attorney Albritton Says
TAMPA, Florida [NMT/USAG] -- On Monday, August 2, 2010, United States Attorney A. Brian Albritton announced that John Nicholas Coors, 21, of 702 51st Street East, in Bradenton pleaded guilty to one count of Use of Interstate Commerce Facilities in the Commission of Murder For Hire. Coors faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison.
John Nicholas Coors
According to the plea agreement, the Joint Terrorism Task Force ( JTTF) received a tip from a citizen that John Nicholas Coors was involved in making explosive devices. Through an undercover investigation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was able to determined that Coors was claiming that he had chemicals he could use to make explosive devices involving nitroglycerin. An undercover agent approached Coors and, during the recorded meetings, Coors agreed to build an explosive device, install it inside of a vehicle, and detonate it-for $8,000.
On April 23, 2010, the undercover officer picked up Coors and the two went to a hotel where Coors said he would build the explosive device in one of the rooms. From an adjoining room, agents monitored with audio and video recording equipment and watched as Coors began to assemble the device. During the process, Coors demonstrated and instructed the undercover officer in great detail on how the device was supposed to work, how to build it, and how to improve it. Coors also showed the undercover officer the locksmith tools he would use to break into the purported victim's vehicle. The undercover officer and Coors then drove to Tampa and stopped near the purported victims vehicle. Coors actually broke into the vehicle (which was a "dummy" planted by the FBI) and installed the device, and then returned to the undercover vehicle, where he waited for the "victim." At approximately 11:30 p.m., the "victim" (another undercover agent) entered the vehicle and Coors pressed the button on the electronic triggering device intending to blow up the vehicle and the victim. The FBI, however, had carefully substituted an inert material for real explosives in Coors bomb, so it would not work. Coors continually pressed the button for the triggering device in an attempt to make it explode. He was taken into custody and charged.
United States Attorney A. Brian Albritton stated "The quick reporting of suspicious activities by citizens in this case, together with the diligent reaction by the JTTF in following those leads, took out of action a dangerous individual that was willing to cause a real tragedy in our community. This is yet another example of how violent acts can be prevented by having our citizenry work closely with law enforcement officers. In order to prevent violence from taking place in our Country, we must all remain vigilant at all times."
Steven Ibison, Special Agent in Charge of the Tampa FBI Division stated As demonstrated in this case, the multi-agency partnerships which make up our local Joint Terrorism Task Force continue to play a critical role in the day-to-day protection of our communities and our national security.
This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, Manatee County Sheriff's Office, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, and the Tampa Police Department. This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Eduardo E. Toro.

Two Women
Arrested for
Exposure of Sex Organs
at Peggy's Corral While
Performing Strip Dances
MANATEE COUNTY, Florida [NMT] -- Four undercover Manatee County Sheriff's Office Detectives, along with uniformed officers and other detectives, have arrested Jeanette L. White, 28, of Sarasota and Stacey Lynn Bell, 35, of Bradenton. for exposure of their sexual organs.
Above, L to R, Jeanette L. White and Stacey Lynn Bell
According to the arrest reports, detectives received anonymous tips regarding adult entertainment occurring at "Peggy's Corral" located at 4511 North Highway 41, in Palmetto. The information received said that this occurs on Thursday evenings at about 8 p.m. Further information indicated that female dancers strip all their clothes off and dance on a stage at the north end of the building. There is a "stripper pole" that is installed on the stage and as the females dance, bar patrons will bring them money.
On Thursday, July 29, 2010, at about 9:30 p.m., four detectives from the Manatee County Sheriff's Office Special Investigations Division conducted an undercover operation in an attempt to verify if this type of activity was occurring. When they entered the bar, their attention was immediately drawn to a White female, later identified as Stacey Lynn Bell, who was dancing on the small stage. She was wearing a small white tank top shirt and a small "school girl" type skirt. The tank top was cut off in such a manner that it was worn just above Bell's breasts and exposed them entirely. The skirt she was wearing was short enough that detectives could clearly see that she was not wearing any underwear. Bell's vagina and buttocks were both easily observed by detectives and customers inside the bar. As she danced, detectives observed her take her top off so that she was completely nude except for the small skirt. Bell continued to dance in this manner for about thirty minutes while customers would bring her money, the report said.
Then, at about 10 p.m., another White female, later identified as Jeanette Lee White, went to the stage and also began to dance. She was wearing a small white "dress" that covered her breasts, but allowed spectators to see her underwear. After dancing for a short time, she also began to take off her clothing. White took off her dress and exposed her bare breasts to detectives and customers inside the bar. White continued to dance with only T-back style underwear covering her vagina. As she danced, White would use her fingers and periodically move her underwear to the side and exposed her vagina to detectives and customers in the bar. Customers would also bring her money while she danced.
At about 11 p.m., uniformed deputies, along with other detectives entered Peggy's Corral and arrested both Bell and White.
Post-Miranda, White said she did not know she was doing anything wrong. She said that the bartender, later identified as Terry Jo Roberts, pays her $50 to dance and that they are to encourage audience participation. White said she also gets to keep any tips that she makes while she dances.
When the bartender was asked about these allegations, she said that she was too busy at the bar to notice if the females were taking off their clothes.
The owners of Peggy's Corral also said that they were unaware of the inappropriate behavior that was occurring at the bar, the report said.
Both White and Bell were arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure. They each posted a $500 bail bond and were released from the Manatee County Jail.
